Thankful Thursday

Thankful for my Dad.

Love you very much Dad. Thanks for working so hard for us. Even for making us work hard.
For wanting us to have good values. For teaching me how to grow things.
and for showing how to use my own initiative.
For using your time and effort to be able to give. Not sure all the old ladies wanted a big huge fish to handle, but they got one!

I am glad you are with God now.

Oh Sandy,
If I am interpreting this correctly, I am so sorry. I don't want to spill these tears and have to explain at work my I'm crying, so I'm blinking really fast. You have been SO blessed and if I could make this any easier for you, I would. I'm sending loads of prayers and {{hugs}} for you and your family.

what a tribute. You chose a great Dad! And there he is among growing things... Your choice of qualities to mention really painted a picture of him for me.
what a loss for you and what a good start he gave you

Condolences to you. I am crying and laughing at the same time, 'cause it seems my Dad (went home 22 years ago) and yours might have had a few things in common - gardening, hard work (which usually involved putting us kids to work in the garden), and giving people things they didn't want as a sign of his love for them. Praying peace on your heart in the days to come.
